Well here I am at long last.....Sorry for the delay, but they say....better late than never, right?
This is a rough draft of how this starts and I am sure with your advice (please feel free to PM me ), suggestions or any other kind of input, together we can make this Lending Library of assistance to our members. When I first started this journey with my MLC X I wanted desperately to understand what he was going through and I started a journey of self exploration of my own. So I began getting suggestions, or going to local book stores looking through the many self help isles. As you know, books can be costly................once you read them, then what? Some I like to keep, some I have no problem giving away, or lending them out to others. I have begun a collection and have some books. I know there must be many of us who also must have some books. What to do with them? I have some suggestions and ideas: Do you want to get rid of the books all together? I would love for you to mail them to me. Please PM me with the books you want to send and I will provide you with my mailing address. or maybe.................. You would like to pay it forward.............you have books and would not mind forwarding them on to other members if they should ask.............send me a PM with the names of the books and the Authors and even a small note on what the book had to offer you or what you thought of the book. (you dont have to but it is always nice to know something about the book before you request it), I will use this information to add to our library of books. So keep an eye out here as I add to our library of books. or maybe you need a book........................please feel free to PM me and I will do my best to get the book to you........ or maybe you just have suggestions of books you read and found helpful. I would love to hear from you.............. Books found to be helpful during this time: For MLT/MLC Understanding Men's Passages Gail Sheehy Love Must be Tough Dr James Dobson For Healing or Self Help: I Never Thought We Would Speak Again-The road from Estrangement to Reconciliation-Laura Davis Romancing the Ordinary- Sarah Ban Breathnach Simple Abundance Sarah Ban Breathnach Something More Sarah Ban Breathnach Succulent Wild Women Sark Help with the kids: Parenting through Crisis-Barbara Coloroso This is just the start I am looking forward to hearing from anyone and everyone in regards to either sending me your used books, or holding onto them and waiting for me to contact you as the need arises from any of our members. As I recieve your responses and time allowing I will add to what is available in our Library. Again I look forward to any input, ideas, suggestions, comments, etc for our Lending Library. Thank You, FF -------------------- My prayer for you today: May the fleas of a thousand camels gather around the crotch of your enemy.......and may their arms be too short to scratch

The Library is a resource available to any forum member. You merely PM me and I will mail the books to you. You may return them to me when you are done, or feel free to pay it forward to someone else whom you may think will benefit from them.
Got books? Feel free to PM me and I will give you my address and you may feel free to send them to me so that we may share them with our forum members. Please Members, feel free to utilize this resource, it is a free service we offer here at 40/60 and many have already spent the money to send these books to enable others to take advantage of this opportunity. As always, Your librarian FF -------------------- My prayer for you today: May the fleas of a thousand camels gather around the crotch of your enemy.......and may their arms be too short to scratch

The books listed in the previous post are the books I physically HAVE my hands on. However, we have the ability to help any of our members get the books they need to help themselves through this time. We have had many donations of both books and cash and we appreciate both.
Should you want to know more about a book, want to borrow a book, want to unload some books, please feel free to PM me. Thanks to all of you for making our Lending Library a success! -------------------- My prayer for you today: May the fleas of a thousand camels gather around the crotch of your enemy.......and may their arms be too short to scratch
